Behind the scenes of a larger-than-life video experience at UAlbany
A message from NYS Writers Institute Director Paul Grondahl:
In case you did not get a chance to come to campus to view the amazing “Passages” projection mapping show at the inaugural Albany Film Festival on four rainy, windy nights in spring, here’s a new opportunity to experience the magic from the comfort of your home.
Enjoy this behind-the-scenes view from the producers at UAlbany Magazine of all that went into the creation and production of “Passages,” turning the side of UAlbany's Science Library into a 195-foot high movie screen.
For those who did see it live on campus, this will present a unique perspective. Play it on the biggest screen you have and turn up the volume. Enjoy the show.
We thank the many sponsors of the inaugural Albany Film Festival along with Justin Maine, president and co-founder of MagicWig Productions of Guilderland, music composer/Albany native Joe Kraemer, and renowned stage and screen actor Stephen Lang, who provided the voiceover. We look forward to next year for a live, in-person event on campus.
Best regards,
Paul
